For 40 years, the Saraki dynasty was the powerhouse in Kwara politics; they set agenda on how the state is governed by successive administration. Anyone that dared to challenge the authority of the dynasty experienced great financial and material loss. Although the masses were disgruntled but there was no personality or idea strong enough to act as a rally cry for the liberation of the state.
